This week at the L Magazine, we’ve got a few art events that will benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Tuesday, November 6th

Party: Election Viewing Circus and Sandy Benefit, City Reliquary

Thanks to the Williamsburg artifacts museum City Reliquary, you can watch the election while benefitting Sandy relief. They’ll donate all proceeds from the $5 door charge, which gets you a free beer and entry to an election viewing party “circus.” It’ll be MC’ed by Matt Levy, DJ’ed by DJs Stacheroni and Tinseltown, and entertained with sideshow performances by Donny Vomit. And of course, there will be booze and a live MSNBC feed. We won’t feel much like partying if Romney wins, but we’ll want a drink either way.
7 PM until it’s called, 370 Metropolitan Ave

Wednesday, November 7th

As Brooklynites are well aware, many of DUMBO’s waterfront businesses and art spaces were damaged heavily last week. The fundraiser at Galapagos Art Space will help support many of those spaces, including:

Galapagos Art Space
Governor
One Girl Cookies
Aegir Board Works
66 Water Street
Almondine
powerHouse Arena
Punto Bianco
Smack Mellon
Ignazio’s
7 Old Fulton
Rabbit Hole Studios
Brooklyn Roasting

And in addition to just pulling together in tough times, they’ve added some incentives: a 2 hour private party at Jane’s Carousel, Nets and Yankees tickets, a personal vintage shopping trip, and more.
6-10 PM, Galapagos Art Space, 16 Main Street
