Best Link Ever: Ripley’s Believe It or Not on Dada Art

by Paddy Johnson on January 1, 2013 · 1 comment

“When you know you’re going to be on stage, you want to make sure you look your best and that you’re properly dressed for the part.” Begins Ripley’s Believe It or Not host Marie Osmond. Fashion cliches are strange way to introduce a segment on Hugo Ball, a member of the DADA art movement, but I suppose that’s part of television’s charm.  The movement was driven by anti-war, anti-bourgeois and radical left ideology.

This youtube receives Best Link Ever status for Osmond’s recitation of the nonsensical poem by Ball. It’s pretty great.
